SEPTEMBER IS SAFETY MONTH!

The goal of the REALTOR® Safety Program is to reduce the number of safety incidents that occur in the industry, so every REALTOR® comes home safely to his or her family every night. We will accomplish this goal together with our members by improving the Safety Culture in the industry: Talk about safety; create a safety plan and follow it; and encourage your fellow REALTORS® to do the same.

Homeowner Safety & Security Toolkit

This toolkit (DOC: 74 KB) provides REALTOR® associations with the

context, materials, and best practices to get the word out about

homeowner safety and security, including home security tips for

new homeowners, homeowner crime prevention tips as weather

gets warmer, and homeowner crime prevention tips while on vacation.

Marketing Materials

NAR provides materials for Associations and Brokerage to promote

REALTOR® Safety. Resources include flyers, posters, digital ads, web

There are a variety of tools REALTORS® can add to their personal

safety plans, such as the smartphone apps and safety products. For

informational purposes, NAR provides a list of resources here for
